Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Stylelina ("we", "the service") collects when you use the Stylelina mobile app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account identifier. When you sign in we receive your email address and account display name from Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. We store this on our servers to identify your account.
• Wardrobe photos. Photos you upload of clothes are stored on our servers so the AI stylist can ground recommendations in items you own. You can delete wardrobe items from inside the app.
• Chat messages and AI conversations. The messages you send to the Stylelina AI, and its replies, are stored on our servers and processed by Google's Vertex AI service so the stylist can reason about and remember your preferences.
• Style preferences and feedback. Body info, style preferences, outfit feedback, and other profile fields you provide in the app.
• Approximate location (optional). If you enable weather-aware recommendations we use your device location to fetch the current forecast from a third-party weather provider. Coordinates are not retained beyond the request.
• Diagnostic data. Standard server logs (timestamps, request paths, IP address) for operating and debugging the service.

How we use it

• Provide and improve the AI stylist responses.
• Persist your wardrobe, preferences, and conversation history across sessions.
• Protect the service from abuse (rate limiting, fraud detection).

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with the following processors strictly for operating the service:

• Google Cloud Platform — application hosting, database, and storage.
• Google Vertex AI (Gemini, Imagen) — for AI reasoning and image generation.
• Open-Meteo — for weather forecasts (no personal identifier sent).

Retention

We retain your account data, wardrobe, and conversations for as long as your account is active. You can request account deletion at any time by emailing privacy@stylelina.com; we remove your data within 30 days.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Data at rest is encrypted at the database and storage layer by our cloud provider. Access to production systems is limited to operators on a need-to-know basis.

Children

Stylelina is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.
